How do I book a service with Homora?
Book online through our booking system at booking.homora.fi. Select your service, choose a date and time, and confirm. You'll receive instant confirmation via email and SMS.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment without fees. Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, a 50% fee applies.
Can I set up recurring services?
Book weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring services at discounted rates. Contact us or select the recurring option when booking online.
What are your service hours?
We operate Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-16:00. Same-day bookings may be available – call +358 41 716 9807 to check.

👕 Laundry & Ironing

What is one laundry load?
One load equals 4 kg of laundry. This is approximately 15-20 regular clothing items or 2-3 sets of bed linens.
Do you handle special textiles like silk or wool?
Yes, but special textiles are priced after inspection. Drop off items for assessment, and we'll provide a quote based on fabric care requirements.
How long does wash and fold take?
Standard turnaround is 24-48 hours. Express same-day service may be available for an additional fee – contact us to confirm.
Do you provide pickup and delivery?
Yes! We offer pickup and delivery for laundry services within Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Travel zone fees apply for areas beyond central Helsinki.

🧹 Cleaning Services

What's included in standard home cleaning?
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, trash removal. Add-ons available: fridge interior (€10), oven (€15), windows up to 6 (€20), pet handling (€5).
Do I need to supply cleaning products?
We bring our own professional supplies. Eco-friendly products available for €5 add-on. If you prefer specific products, we're happy to use yours.
What if I need more time during the service?
Extra time available in 30-minute increments at €20 per block. Our cleaner can request approval during the service via our system.
Is Airbnb turnover service available?
Yes! Fast 2-hour turnover includes cleaning, bedding change, and guest-ready setup. Perfect for short-term rental hosts.

✂️ Tailoring & Sewing

How long do alterations take?
Standard alterations: 2-5 days. Simple repairs like button replacement: 1-2 days. Rush service may be available – contact us to check.
Is there a pickup fee for tailoring?
€10 pickup fee applies but is credited toward your final service cost when you proceed with alterations.
Do you do custom tailoring or just alterations?
Both! We handle everyday alterations (hemming, tapering) and custom small tailoring projects. Complex custom work quoted after fitting.

🔧 Handyman & Maintenance

What handyman tasks do you handle?
Small assembly, picture hanging, minor sealant work, curtain rod installation, and basic fixes. Safety-first policy means we decline electrical, plumbing, or structural work.
What are the safety limits?
We don't handle: electrical wiring, plumbing repairs, structural modifications, appliance installation requiring permits, or work requiring licensed professionals.
Can I add extra time to a handyman slot?
Yes, add 30-minute blocks as needed. Communicate additional tasks when booking or during service for seamless coordination.

💰 Pricing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay via Stripe. Secure payment processed after service completion.
Am I eligible for kotitalousvähennys tax deduction?
Yes! All our services qualify for Finnish household tax deduction. We provide detailed invoices with required information for your tax filing.
What are travel zones B and C?
Zone B (10-20 km from Helsinki center): €10 fee. Zone C (20-30 km): €20 fee. Most of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, and Kauniainen are included in standard pricing.
